The sign says “Life’s too short not to live it as a Texan”. Growing up in Michigan, it was a long journey until Dennis finally settled south of Houston on the Texas Gulf Coast. After high school, he spent a year backpacking through Europe with a buddy, came back home, went to college, spent some time as an Army officer living in Alabama, North Carolina and in Europe before he finally settled down in Texas. After 28 years working as a juvenile probation officer in Texas, Dennis was able to retire from the day job and now has more time to devote to his family, friends, and his music.
