Flying?…  simply bring Amazon, VISA or Mastercard gift cards and the Christian Service Centers (Christmas Cheer Program)  will purchase the toys for you.

PHIP Meeting of the Minds Blood Drive

Karen Lyons is our chairperson for the Blood Drive in Gulf Shores.  Karen has been busy orchestrating a plan for Parrot Head’s to help give the gift of life to those in the Gulf Shores area.  Watch for her updates in early September regarding blood donation opportunities and the cool t-shirt design for 2026.  

PHIP Meeting of the Minds Skippin and Sippin

Team Parrot Head “Skippin & Sippin” 5k Run / Fun Walk  – 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24 hosted by  LuLu’s Gulf Shores. 

For your convenience, Skippin and Sippin will have a registration table with details on the walk available Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to NOON at the Hangout.

Parrot Heads do Brasway auction

Flora-Bama on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 1 – 2:30 PM.  Bid on specially decorated bras donated by Parrot Head Chapters to raise funds for local breast cancer patients.

PHIP Meeting of the Minds Annual Basket Raffle 

Calling all Parrot Head Clubs…  please consider donating a basket for our annual raffle. Drop off at the Hangout Wednesday, October 21 from 11:00AM to 5:00PM (lower level beach side) Proceeds help us give back to our host community via donations to local charities.  

The check presentations will be Saturday, October 24 at 4p.m. from the Lower level Hangout Main Stage..

October 25th

Gulf Shores, AL — The official Jimmy Buffett fan club, Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., with more than 200 sanctioned clubs and over 20,000 members worldwide, is flocking back to Gulf Shores, Alabama for five days of music, games, and charity giving has now concluded. The Annual “Meeting of the Minds” returned for the third year, bringing Parrot Heads from around the globe to celebrate their love of music, community, and giving back.

Event Highlights:
This year’s festival included live performances from The Landshark Band, Wheeland Brothers, Jesse Rice Band, Homemade Wine Reunion, Grammy Award–winning artist Gramps Morgan, and many more. Events were hosted at iconic venues including The Hangout, LuLu’s, and the Flora-Bama Lounge, transforming Gulf Shores into a tropical paradise with a total of 9 different venues and businesses utilized during the event.

Party with a Purpose
Parrot Heads always leave their event and the communities surround them a little better than we found them. While the Parrot Heads were here, we donated the following:

Special Operations Warrior Foundation: $2000.00

Bras Across the Causeway $2000.00

South Baldwin Community Theater $2000.00

Christian Service Center $2000.00, plus 81 toys, 60 pairs of shoes

Foley HS Steel Drum Band $2000.00

Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo $3900.00

Skippin & Sippin 2025 with over 500 registered attendees raised over: $26,000.

Parrot Heads do Brasway, with 11 club entrants raised $5000, and still counting.

Direct contributions, $78,603. and assisted contributions of $26,000.

Total of $104,603.

Parrot Heads live to give to their communities, Music is our soul and charity is the heart that drives us. We want to thank all the people and local town folk that have helped us have such a successful run here in Gulf Shores. We will be back next year, October 21st to the 25th, 2026.
